Can anyone tell me the title of this movie?
 

I am looking for the title to the movie that ends like this:

The is this whole town that has gathered in the town hall together for safety because something is after them. Then, the parent realize that they have to give up one of their children to make this thing go away, so they all draw stones to see which parent must sacrifice their kid.

Any ideas anyone? This is really bugging me.

Yea, that is definately Stephen King's "Storm Of The Century".

Wait, so the part where he loses his kid isn't the ending?

I could easily be wrong......In fact, now that I think about it, I am wrong. I just remember the scene when he's walking down the street and sees his kid as a teenager. That must come right after the marble-picking scene.
