Do you honestly remember?
 

So last night was bath night. My two sons (3 and 9) took a bubble bath together and splashed and made a mess like always. They hop out of the tub and the wife and I proceed to towel them off.

The eldest bends over to dry his toes and my wife sees a thread hanging off his balls. She thinks it's a frayed bit of towel so she grabs it and pulls.

"OW!" The eldest jerks away from her. "Hey, that's attached!"

The wife and I, being kind and sensitive types, explode into riotous laughter when it strikes me that I don't remember when I got pubic hair. You'd think it would be a traumatic event (and yeah, ladies I was raised in a house of women and have heard more "white dress" stories than most) but I seriously don't remember it.

the only related memory of 'growing awareness' i have is the time i found all 24 issues of playboy 1971 and 1972 in a community paper disposal bin.

that was the night i discovered that my 'special attachment' had more uses than just peeing.

Yeah, that's pretty simliar to my "awakening" but the hair thing...I've asked several guys and none of them remember noticing the change. Wierd, huh?

Nope, don't remember that happening, don't remember when the... erm.... bumps on the front started growing either..... oh wait, that hasn't happened yet :o :p

most guys dont dwell on the physical - of their own person - until much later in life ..

but then again .. i never really made note of my first grey hair either ..

shit i probably see a mirror for 5 minutes a year.
