Torchwood
 

This is a relatively new series, currently showing on the BBC and is a spin off of the Dr Who series.

Members of a top secret organisation - Torchwood, (an anagram of Doctor Who), try to defend the Earth from alien invasion, by studying captured alien technology which the aliens have 'kindly' left behind.

We are at the the third episode so far and it seems pretty good.
