Band Swapping Thread
 
So this is something that I do with a couple of my friends all the time. Simple as anything, but it works well.

Post a couple bands that you listen to, but dont think many people are familliar with. New, old...anything. Ive discovered alot of great bands this way.

I'll start:

- Buck 65

- The Coasters (ok so Im sure folks would know them, but I never hear them mentioned around here)

- Tapes n' Tapes (Just started listening to these guys tonight...so far, pretty cool)

Mindless self indulgence: very few people have heard of them so check them out their kind of a techno/rap/punk mix

Rush-I don't think that alot of people know about them.
That's the only band I really know that are'nt to well known.

- soft boys (robyn hitchcock) you might not know them but they've influenced bands you do.

thats wild ... in Canada they are one of the most popular bands of all time.

i dont expect anyone to know them outside canada but they did break out into the US back in the 70's - 80's ..

i guess the younger gen wouldnt really know of them these days
