Band Swapping Thread
 

So this is something that I do with a couple of my friends all the time. Simple as anything, but it works well.

Post a couple bands that you listen to, but dont think many people are familliar with. New, old...anything. Ive discovered alot of great bands this way.

I'll start:

- Buck 65

- The Coasters (ok so Im sure folks would know them, but I never hear them mentioned around here)

- Tapes n' Tapes (Just started listening to these guys tonight...so far, pretty cool)

Rush-I don't think that alot of people know about them.
That's the only band I really know that are'nt to well known.

i think their a good band shame their only really known for one song, well thats if u have heard of them.

- soft boys (robyn hitchcock) you might not know them but they've influenced bands you do.

- Sparks - californian power pop band

well, my first band Mother Superior, a great power trio from the US and the other one Hermano, John Garca's band

I don't know about where you are but barely any of my friends has heard of them.

thats wild ... in Canada they are one of the most popular bands of all time.

i dont expect anyone to know them outside canada but they did break out into the US back in the 70's - 80's ..

i guess the younger gen wouldnt really know of them these days

i know about rush and im only 14
