Zombie Baby Dolls...again some more!~

Yes, the Zombie Baby Dolls I've built are still available. They're basically the same but with a few improvements in construction materials, paint formulas, etc. Sure to please. Thanks a bunch for looking!

Just curious... How many of those have you sold now? And what's their average going rate?

Oh, the ad features that sort of info...they're not mass produced, so they're really collectible art pieces. Limited run type things.

Well, I can tell they are not mass produced. That's why I was asking...

They just seem like they would take a lot of time to make and cnosidering that, I was wondering what they went for. You know what I mean? Like if you spent 10 hours working on one, put $10-15 of your own cash in to it and then sell it for $75 bucks, that translates to a $60 profit for 10 hours of work or $6 an hour. I was just trying to think of how much they'd need to sell for to make it worth your time. How long does each one generally take you to make?

Without giving away too much, I would say they take a surprisingly long time to make. I priced them really low in order to introduce them. The profit I make is exceedingly small, currently, but I enjoy making them and they seem to be really pleasing to people.

Sorry, didn't mean to pry if I did. Just curious because I do stuff like paint horror characters on to my horror movie cabinet and make stop motion films so I just know how long that tedious sort of stuff can take. If I ever need a zombie baby, you're my guy! ;)

Not at all, your interest is most appreciated! I actually am a stop-motion animator also, you can see some of my stop motion work in the film "Lawnmower Man" (the hand blistering sequence) and also in the documentary on the new "The Entity" DVD (the ghost materialization effects).

Stop motion is a very tedious medium to work in but it yields a very magical effect. I still can't get enough of those Ray Harryhausen films, they're great.
