I think Im going to see the new one this weekend...looks like crap, but Im intrigured to see how they handle it.

I didnt quite get why they were bothering to make a remake to a movie where the whole point was the twist at the end. At least Tim Burton had a creative new twist in Planet of the Apes.

I can imagine them trying to remake The usual Suspects in 10 years. Dave Kujon ends up being Kaiser Soze... or something retarded like that.

I like how the didnt completly cop out and let Cage survive, and that part was easily the highlight of this otherwise horrible movie. The "6 Months Later" scene was, as ACIN said, "positively infuriating". Made NO scence at all. Drove the movie even farther into the mud then it already was.

i'm waiting for the Wicker Monkey - that'll be really scary!

My mom said it was excellent :(
