Hi. I am new to the forum. I just found a link to this webpage in Rue morgue. Everyone on here seems kick ass just for the love of horror movies. You guys seem to know your stuff (music and movies) I am sick of all this crap being passed off as horror now-a-days. When you use the words clever and hip to describe a horror movie it ceases to be one. I am done ranting. Rock

Yeah, error, you keep ranting, because you're RIGHT. Movies these days don't really have much ability to really SCARE you, so they try (pretty weakly in too many cases) to simply STARTLE you. It's bad enough that too many moviegoers don't know the difference, but it's worse that movieMAKERS don't seem to know!
