i read about this a few weeks ago, a girl then aged twelve was staanding by a bus stop when the public phone next to her started to ring. when she got home she told her mum while she was waiting for the bus a phone started to ring and a man had asked her what her age was and what colour was her underwear, her mother told her not to pick up the phone again.

a few years later, the woman was standing at a bus stop, she went to go into the phone box and it started to ring, she picked it up and a voice said, "hello, i can see you, what are you wearing".
the woman reported it to the police but couldnt do anything due to lack of evidence.

so the woman started to carry a small tape recorder and when she entered the phone box it would ring and she would record the man saying lewd things to her.

She went to the police staion and the piloce siad that they cant trace the call due to it being a public phone, so one day her daughter went to the phone box and she said to the man that she was ten and needing a friend, the man said that he would meet her at six. after she hung up the mum went to the police and they agreed to look out for the man. the man did come at six and he got speaking to the girl, just as they were abouyt to leave the police approached ther man and arrested him.

he pleaded guilty to making obscene phone calls, he was put on the sex offenders list and watched for two years.

I don't believe it.

haha that guy seemed pretty stupid "I can see you what are you wearing?" if he could see her he would be able to see what she's wearing
Also if he's implying he wanted her to not be wearing much then he's not gonna get much chance of that in a public phone box

there are people out there who think they can do a crime and not get caught but some people slip up
