Zombie Movies Competition
Most popular among the 3 categories (Vampire & Werewolf being the other two), the zombies have struck horror into audiences' hearts for the simple fact that they are the un-dead, and cannot be staked or shot with a silver bullet. A hit to the head works sometimes, but not all the time.
The history ranges back to quite a long timeline, but George Romero immortalised the zombie through his series of Living Dead movies. They enjoy popular appeal even today, and thats largely thanks to video game makers and the Category of "Survival Horror" games, which includes Resident Evil...the most popular of all of em. Lets start by squaring off the first two immensely popular Romero offerings... http://www.follow-me-now.de/assets/i...Filmplakat.jpg Director :- George Romero Producers :- Karl Hardman & Russell Streiner Released :- 1968 vs. http://www.umbrellaent.com.au/flats/0365.jpg Director :- George Romero Producer :- Dario Argento Released :- 1978 Let the votes roll in. Scale ends at 10. |
Even though "Night" is the grandaddy of all zombie movies, I was always partial to "Dawn".

It's widely accepted around here that Night, Dawn & Day are the top 3 zombie films. That's not something that's gonna change with a few new members. Besides, I was just trying to save the guy a little time. |
Well it wont hurt to have another competition for the top honours will it? Now that several remakes of old movies are around, together with movies based on video games, lets see what all of you think of.
If it boils down to the same results, then it will be established once and for all which one is the winner. But what if we have a new winner? So...keep fingers crossed, and keep the votes coming in... |
so far 1-0 to Dawn, need more votes in...
