that reminds me of this creative writing assignment we had to do last year. We were shown some pictures and had to write the beginning of a story based on them. One of them was a picture of a little dog getting a shot, and two kids covering their eyes in the background. We could read our story intros out loud if we wanted. The other ones people read were all kinda sappy our touch-feely hippy crap. So, then I read mine, which went a little something like this:
Mom told us to cover our eyes, that she had a surprise for us. We didn't know why Hamster, our dog, was there. we heard him yelp, and our mom told us to open our eyes.
"Surprise!" she said cheerily, "I had Hamster put to sleep! Now get in the van." She did stuff like that a lot.
Horrified. Faces. It was priceless
