Baby Update
So many doctor's appointments...That part REALLY sucks...
But...I suppose it's necessary...So, this is what we know now It's a boy....I REALLY wanted a girl (we all did), but apparently you can't choose :) We had a level two (extensive) ultrasound a couple of weeks ago...At this stage you can really see the baby...It has very chubby cheeks and a big, round belly...It doesn't look like Me, Wicked Lady or Demon Seed AT ALL (except that it DOES have our huge feet...lol)....It looks just like Dustin... At the time of the ultrasound, he was asleep, holding onto his toes...He prefers to sleep in the daytime, and he is extremely active at night...Just like the rest of us It was determined that the dehydration (for which they threatened to hospitalize me, and hook me up to IV fluids) was caused by Gestational Diabetes, which I didn't know I had until last month...They told me that it happens about 40% of the time and as soon as the baby is born, it will go away......Kinda weird........I never had to deal with that with my other pregnancies Because I have had 2 emergency c-sections after 2-3 days of intense, induced labor, and it has been determined that I am incapable of giving birth naturally, they went ahead and scheduled a regular c-section, to take place before I go into labor, which will reduce stress, risk, and complications for me and the baby (wish they would have done that with the other 2) And so... Ashton Xander Hupe will be here on December 16th...In the morning (he isn't going to like THAT...I'm not so crazy about the idea myself...My other two were both born late at night)...And he will be weighing in at right around 8 pounds, just like my other two It was the boys' decision to name him 'Ash'...After Bruce Campbell/Evil Dead |

I can't post any pictures at the moment (not having a computer of my own, and therefore being unable to upload any)...BUT, the hospital provides a service with a website called 'Web Babies' where his picture will be...I'll post a link to it when it gets there... We have STRONG reason to believe that he will be a redhead (he has a 75% genetic chance)....lol...Poor kid Seri says she wants to dye his hair dark blue or green when he's a year or two old:eek: ...I'm gonna HAVE to try to find a way to keep her away from his head... Awwww....I'm so happy for you BR! :) You must be so excited!!! Definately post a link as soon as you can. I bet he's beautiful! I wish you nothing but happiness as you welcome him into the world next month. Congrats mom! ;)
