Female Supreme Court Nominee
 

I am concerned that this nominee (Harriet Miers) will
not fully support women's issue .. particularly in
terms of abortion and any other issues that may come
up over the next 20 or so years. I found this link in

I don't see any reason that it would come as a surprise to anybody in the country that GW would select a pro-life nominee.

Of course he picked a conservative person to be a judge, he's a conservative president. It seems like a no-brainer....

Harriet Miers is not a bad candidate because of her views on controversial issues.

Harriet Miers a bad candidate because she's underqualified. Bush puts people he knows who support him in jobs they don't deserve. All this lady's really got behind her belt is the Texas lottery. Even republicans are pissed about this, not because they don't think she'll take their position on big issues, but because it's an insult.

I'm just thinkin why the fuck this person has picked this forum to ask the question. My guess is he/she knows someone else on the forum.

My personal opinion is that there isnt one person in govt. that is qualified to do the job that they are given. All the people that are qualified are smart enough to stay away from politics.

Would I ever get into politics??? FUck no!!!! I dont need to be dragged thru the mud and put my family thru hell because of my religious beliefs, lifestyle choices and so on.

The Constitution is pretty clear to me. We dont need 9 thinkers sitting around trying to interpret what we already know.

Just remember 45% of govt. is waste and corruption.
