Husker Du

Great fuckin' band. They were definatley one of the driving forces in starting alternative music. You can hear their influence everywhere.

Total Mind fuck double album. I once spent a whole night listening to this over and over on 'shrooms (but that's another story). Changed my life man

I definately do the DU.. We used to listen to a lot of the Husker's in the mid 80's.. At that time we I really liked JFA the Misfits, DK, and the Milkmen.

Glad to see someone on here has got some taste. I love all that stuff from the early to mid 80s (Reagan Youth, Circle Jerks, Angry Samoans - a favorite at the moment, Necros and of course DKs and The Misfits).

I just bought the new Bob Mould - Body of Song. I've got to admit at first I was repulsed - its kind of techno with some weird vocal effects (like the thing they did with Cher's voice) - but it has slowly grown on me. Mainly because Mould is such a great lyricist.

I've never really checked out any of his solo stuff.
