What did you think of "Shallow Grave"?
 

Well, I picked this movie up along with "Versus" and "Love Object". I havent seen any of these movies yet but I heard good things so its worth a shot. Did anyone see "Shallow Grave"? I read the box and it sounds real interesting.

Saw Shallow Grave last night and I thought it was very good... But i went on a thread and it seems to be a huge debate about whether he died or lived at the end. Did Alex die or live? Im thinking that he lived but people are making good points on both sides.

Shallow Grave is a GREAT movie! I highly recommend this to anyone who hasn't seen it. Ewan McGregor and Danny Boyle's first (To my knowledge) teaming and, in my opinion, one of their best!


Ewan's dead at the end, so's the other dude. The girl lives, but gets the suitcase full of nothing. It's a beautifully dark and twisted ending.





Versus was average, in my opinion.

Never saw Love Object.

I was disappointed in Versus probably because I had high expectations for it. It could have been much more but the budget constraints made every scene look alike in the woods. How many different aspects of versus reminds you of The Matrix? trenchcoat, guns, techno music, eye glass scene, one police officer that reminded me of the bad guy from matrix and he even does that backwards bend that Neo did when he was fired upon. Also, I wished they made the zombies more serious and more part of the film. Uninteresting plot as well. What i did like about it was the martial arts and loads of violence. Its not a movie that i will watch again. 6/10 but not for its horror appeal. It was the martial art action that made me watch it all.

love object is pretty good... check it out if u havent.

Yea, I had to watch the end scene of the movie twice. he is definetly dead with those clues.
