New Bruce Campbell movie

Bruce Campbell to Play Bruce Campbell

In an interview with Bruce Campbell ("Evil Dead" films, "Spider-Man" films, upcoming Sky High) at Kotaku, the actor says he'll be playing himself in an upcoming movie:

And then in the Fall I'm going to start a new film for Dark Horse comics, a cool company set in Portland, they're making movies now. It's an untitled Bruce Campbell movie where I play myself. It's about a small town that is having problems with a monster and nothing's working so somebody suggests let's get the Evil Dead guy. Unfortunately, in reality I don't own a gun, I've never used a chainsaw and more die then before I got there.

sounds kind of cool, any other information on it, out there?

That's a pretty clever idea, I like the twist on reality with fiction... That Mr. Campbell is something special...

it didnt work too well for Arnold (last action hero)
but it worked ok for john malcovich and will shatner (high enterprise)

For some reason...This reminds me a little of Wes Craven's New Nightmare...

I'd buy it...

I love Bruce Campbell

While it really sounds like an Evil Dead flick I think it's an awesome idea and can't wait.

so did i ... but the critics decided to tear arnold down with it - calling it an ego vehicle.
i thought it was pretty clever and funny ..

I love this idea. But of course, Bruce Campbell is one of my favorite actors. Like with Jeffery Combs, I will watch anything he is in even if it is complete crap.:D

Heh...Like 'All Souls Day: Dia de los Muertos'?...We just watched that one a couple of weeks ago....It needed a LOT more Combs...
