Toronto Area film locations..
 

i thought it would be cool to have a thread where i take pics of film locations from movies you guys would be familar with ..

friday i was on the way to the company picnic when i saw i would be passing by the big temple that was used in Carpenter's In The Mouth of Madness ...

unfortunately i was flying past it so i dont have great pics - just a couple taken through the open car window ..

if i get a free day i'll get better, closer - slower shots .. but this will give you a small idea ..

I remember you telling me you would take some pictures for me a long time ago, I had totally forgot about it until you mentioned it a few days ago. :)

how come so many movies are filmed in Canada?

lack of paparazzi, probably cheaper, and canada is awesome. ;)

mainly because it's cheaper ..

things have slowed down a bit because our dollar is a bit stronger now but its still a huge savings - 20 cents on the dollar when you're talking about a multi million dollar film.
