Taking the Taco

I have had rotten luck all week, right. I mean, everything I have touched turned to absolute shit in a manner of nano-seconds.

Today, I just got the greatest piece of news of my life..

Drum roll?

I have MRSA...An antibiotic resistant infection that is potentially, although not often, fatal. How did I get it? Fucked if I know, I'm the cleanest person on Earth. However, the antibiotics given to me have not had an effect at all.

So, I very well could be in surgery and have a hospital stay by the end of this week. Yippee!

It's possible...I forgot to mention, that I got it from a few piercings I had done not too long ago.

So how are all of you? Anyone have the "luck of the Irish" as well?

sounds like we're both flailing around in the same boat ...

best of luck - here's hoping that surgery is unnessessary ..

Hope you get well soon and lord forbid you have to have surgery.

things always go wrong for me but in the worst way, they build up as if it were about to turn out to be a good thing then they take a 180 and go bad.

I am sorry to hear about that Haunted, i hope for the best.

How about some good news? I finshed the master bathroom finally, and i got a call for a job today. I'm truing not to get my hopes up, but i am nervous and excited.

Hey, maybe it's a mistake, haunted. Bree went to the doctor a couple of years ago and got the scare of her life because the doctor tolfd her she had HPV. Needless to say, she was a wreck. On top of that, rather than writing that she was "A little overweight", the doctor put "Morbidly obese", and apparently this woman was scraping 300 lbs....

anyway, Bree got a second opinion from significantly more reputable doctors, and she was A. HPV negative, never had even a mild case, and B. Not anywhere near "Morbidly obese". the best we could tell, thedoctor was hoping to get her started on some rather expensive treatments, even though she didnt need them.

Not that I'm saying "i hope your doctor is corrupt", just that hopefully they are wrong.

Best of luck, I really hope everything ends up OK.

I, too, had some bad news, but I had mine last week.

I had to get surgery done because they thought I had ulsers. Turns out I don't have ulsers, but a disease called Esophagitis.

So good luck, and I hope you can get through this, and I know how it feels to suddenly find out you're fucked up.

I had surgery on my arm, left leg, wrist and there's a screw in my right knee...

it was all well worth it though ecspecially the screw, hurt like a motherfucker but worth it.

I just go a piece of even worse news. My mom could have it, my dogs could have it, and if my dogs have it, they may have to be put to sleep.

I can deal with the prospect of my own demise, but that of my mom being sick or my dogs dying....that I can't handle.

This is stupid, but if I find out someone put some bad mojo on me, I'mma find out just who the fuck it was and nail their ass to the wall. Silly, huh? However, these are the things you keep stock of when you're a Witch.

Holy shit.

I am very sorry to hear that, my freind. Take it easy, have some happy thoughts and keep your fingers crossed (unless typing or driving)
