Experts please help me ID this movie!
I am trying to remember a movie I haven't seen since childhood, and am hoping one of you good people can help me. I can remember little about it, but what I do remember is significant.
It is about a woman who somehow ends up in a community of secretive blood drinkers (i want to say it's an island). It's definitely from the 60's or 70's, and in color. They keep trying to trick her into drinking blood. At one point I remember she bites into a piece of chicken that is full of blood; I also recall a milk carton full of blood. Very strange. If anyone can give me the title I'd really appreciate it.... |

Well, I have a very low post count but it's only because I have very little to say. True I may have registered to this site to learn about a few movies but if I hadn't wanted to know I never would have probably found this site and I do frequent it even though I rarely post. If I had to guess I'd say most people come back even if they don't post regularly :P

Case closed. Turns out it was "Thirst" (1979). Very interesting twist for a vampire movie. It ends very ambiguously, in my opinion - but I'd still recommend it. Thanks a lot for helping me figure it out.
I found a great video store in Portland, Oregon that has the most obscure movies you could think of. It also has a lot of interesting props from movies in display cases, such as the knife used in the original "Psycho" and the severed ear from "Blue Velvet". |
