scary things

What is the scariest monster in films
like the ones that scared u when you were a child I was inspired by filmaker2's thread about things that scare this however is fictional monters from films, from Nosferatu to Buzz in Day of the dead:cool:

Funny you mention Nosferatu, cause that STILL scares the fuck outa me.......the only film that ever has.

ya know, aside from Pinnocchio's Revenge, that was pretty fucked up.

Nosferatu is, indeed, still pretty creepy. All the same, I'm still going to go with "totally possessed" Regan McNeil if for no other reason than the voice.

Orville the zombie in this movie still scares me. This is still one of my favorite spooky creepy films. Look at those fingernails! You never see them that close in the movie. And maybe that's a good thing.

That is pretty creepy FM. The dry, cracked, earth-filled nails reaching for you. You can smell those hands before they touch you.

The scariest "monsters" IMO, are not demon spawn, not persons possessed, not scaled covered creatures, not the walking dead that feast on flesh or drink blood. To me they're not scary at all, but very entertaining, and always have been.

The real monsters, that cause me some fear, would be the "Monsters" in films like Last House on the Left. Those seemingly normal individuals walking amoungst us everyday, that will shake your hand and smile at you one minute, and kidnap, rape, torture and kill your loved ones the next. Guys like Ed Gein, Jim Jones, John Gacy, Jeffery Dahmer...they are the monsters that anyone should fear. They are the real scary things...maybe not fear them for your personal safety, but for the safety of your wife and children.

Damn, almost profound on one level or another...huh.
