What do you guys think about this.

Since we seem to get a ton of people that sign up just for the sake of spamming the board, why don't we do this...

Delete all spammed threads by people who only sign up for the sole purpose of spamming the board...

I'm not talking about threads by regular members that may have a site or something they wanna share, but the people that sign up and make their first post a spamming post.

I still think that if Horror got off his ass and maqde an "Advertiser's" forum where guests can pimp their shit, we would see a huge drop in the number of 1 posters, and an even bigger drop in the number of pointless ads in the GF.

And it would probably be a good idea to encourage people to not go in and say "FUCK YOU!" to them. Just let them post and leave. It would be rather easy to ignore.

Or to really be funny, make it so that only guests can see it ;)

I know you mods don't have the power, but I like what Vod did to Darth Bane when he tried to disrupt his site. Give him a goofy avatar and generally just fuck around with his post.

As much as we need a spam forum, I don't see horror making one at all...

Hell he never even made the political forum and that was his idea to begin with:confused:

On another board I frequent, if you spam they will automatically lock the post and a mod will reply to it with a "NO SPAMMING POLICY" post, no matter if you are a long time member or not, which I think takes it a little to far, but that's the way they run that board.

The only thing with locking them is that the threads are still there, I say fuck it just delete them, that way when they come back to see if anyone has replied to their thread they can't find it...
