DEAD AND BURIED: Showtime's Dead Like Me has officially been laid to rest. The network confirmed Monday that the low-rated cult fave would not return for a third season. To help fill the void, Variety reports that Showtime is turning the Barbershop film franchise into a TV series. The net is also set to produce a remake of the cheeky drug musical Reefer Madness.


Reefer Madness and the Barbershop series will suck. Fuck You, Showtime!

Oh crap. Why is it the decent shows get cancelled after only a short run. I thought my world ended when Futurama finished after 4 series, but now this. Dead Like Me is a breath of fresh air with its great balance of doom and laughter, and it had a good cast that worked together really well.

I'm gutted and this SUCKS :mad:

Showtime did the same thing with Going To California, it seems like they get an original show going then cancel it.Thank god Showtime does not handle Carnivale.
