Father Callahan, The New 'Salem's Lot **possible spoilers**
 

What's the deal with Ben Vs. Father Callahan in the beginning of the film? And why is Ben hospitalized at the end of the movie? My girlfriend was talking to me at some point in the movie so I could've missed something.

I never got that either....and it wasnt in the book....wtf?:confused:

I really wish someone could answer this. It's haunting me.

What if the priest wasn't biten. What if he just helped the vampires out or something, then Ben went after him when they were all "dead" (whatever) and that's when they both fell down the window? That's the only thing I can think of.
