I haven't been able to get online for months now because my connection is dead. As if this wasn't enough any chance I get to get on the internet is at school. Is anyone else sick of these internet...blocking...programs? Not only at school of course, I've noticed some where my mom works...which is ridiculous...I haven't been able to check my e-mail in forever and a day T-T...gonna cry...This was the last place I checked. Amazingly it wasn't blocked. C'mon this place has more of a right to be blocked than hostultra.com...not that I'm complaining...

maddox.xmission.com , his last entry is all about internet blocking sites. something about how his site is filtered becuase it is 'tasteless.' also, some dumbass made a mothers against maddox website, petitition and everything. it was only on geocities so now that maddox advertised it, its fucked. he has it mirrored tho

anyways, i guess i kinda understand those things for lil kids but i would say 1) they dont alwyas work 2) i wouldnt want my small kid in front of the puter without me there anyway.. so id watch em. i dont see anything wrong with madd, for example.

At school last year (New school this year, havnt got to the comps yet) I finished early and tried to come on here...Blocked! Province wide thing, too. Sure, theyve missed alot that they probably should ban(ie: Happy Tree Friends )...but thats only because they block by word recognition. Someone looked up chicken breats on Googe (It was a teacher)....blocked!

Funny thing is...I got onto a Freddy Krueger website that wasnt blocked....then the teacher came and told me to exit it! Wtf?

When I was in high school, we had the same thing. Of course, there are ways around it...but that's for another thread.

... well when you get 13 year old kids coming on net forums saying they are going to kill their classmates its not suprising schools block access to these sites ...:(
