personal war, need opinions
 

yeah sorry for posting this but it needs to be done
see I;m in a little argument with my g/f.
she thinks jason is better then micheal.
now I say Micheal is better then Jason. I gave here a couple reasons why but she still wont give up unless if i have a poll about it.
so do the poll things, say who you like and give supporting backup to your choice.

um, quit arguin and make with the love!

Seems to me it would be a personal preference. That being said, what difference would it make to your argument whom we would choose.

NO......Jason...yeah thats it, my choice is Jason and my reasons being.........hmmm......I feel kinda bad for the poor lug. Here he is just a little kid at camp,going for a swim and just because his camp counsellors are to busy banging he goes and drowns. Then when his mom tries to get a little justice she gets her noggin lopped off. Now the poor bastard has to take matters into his own hands and kilkillkillkillchaachaachaa all the horny teens of Crystal Lake.

Normally my default mode is to side with the girls. But this is something I've always felt strongly about. I can explain my point of view logically, in a way that cannot be questioned in the slightest.

Jason is cool and relentless, there's no doubt about that, but he's sorta stupid, goofy and apelike, kind of like a high school goon or maybe your typical film industry person.

Michael, on the other hand, dresses better, because he always wears a William Shatner mask; that is hip on his part, and shows his swingin' side. And he's a bit more calculating. Plus, he does that breathing thing. That "HUH-uh, HUH-uh" thing.

They are certainly similar to each other. But Michael is just a better movie maniac, I'm sorry. Michael good, Jason bad. Good good, bad bad, good bad good. Good.

i just reliezed, if its a personal war yet i want opinions on it from other people, then its not very personal is it now. either way who ever get to ten votes wins.

I don't think this one's gonna get to 10 votes...as the majority in here simply DON'T CARE.
If she enjoys one of the two series, let her be....and she should do the same for you.
I'm sure she can come up with just as many stupid reasons for why Jason is "better" as you can for Michael.
Just accept the fact that you have different tastes as a good thing, this way the two of you may see some good horror that you may not have thought about watching until the other one suggests it.
As for who's "better", do you really think it's worth an ongoing discussion? Obviously it's just gonna lead to stupid, pointless arguments....you should be happy you've got a chick that's into horror at all.
Dont argue about movie icons....not when there's so many better things to argue about.

i vote Jason, altho Michael is a very close second, Jason is tops
