Before you vote for John Kerry, watch this video.

I know there's a lot of Democrats on here and I'm not posting this to dissuade you from voting however you want. I'm posting it because it's info you will NEVER get from American media. Give it a watch and draw your own conclusions about this 'war hero' turned Presidential candidate.

John Kerry video

It is bad...

Hate_Breeder 08-09-2004 12:36 PM

Wow that was interesting

Egekrusher 08-09-2004 01:26 PM

Someone care to summarize?

bwind22 08-09-2004 01:39 PM

Sure. It basically says that his 'hero' image is largely inflated and not accurate. Of his platoon, only 1 is actually standing by him right now saying that he was a hero, the rest have threatened to sue him if he tries to mention them. It also says he received 3 purple hearts in 4 1/2 months, but 2 of his injuries were self inflicted. Apparently, 3 purple hearts = discharge, so it insinuates that he injured himself twice to fill the quota and get out of the military. He then came back to the U.S. and protested the war. He even wrote an anti-government book, which he has recently tried to buy up every copy of, so that it doesn't get out to the public. He is honored in a museum of communist Vietnam as a 'hero'. Etc...

There's a lot of info in the film, and I'm sure I skipped some stuff, but it's a good read if you can get to it. All stuff you will never see on the news, that's for sure.

Peachy.

So really, it comes down to picking the lesser of two evils. We already know how bad Bush can be, are we prepared to find out how bad Kerry can be?

I am.

I am.

Yeah, it comes down to the lesser of two evils, but we all already knew that.

Damn our 2 party system.

meetthecreeper 08-09-2004 06:28 PM

You all do realize that there is more than a 2 parties running out there. Lets say for example that 25% of the american public votes Libertarian or Green Party or Populist or some shit like that, my personal opinion is that it would scare the crap out of these career politicians who think that they are pretty safe in their job. Personally I will no longer vote for the lesser of 2 evils anymore. Yes maybe I am throwing my vote away, but if everyone that felt the way I do, it wouldnt be a throw away vote.

Vampenguin 08-09-2004 06:33 PM

Well, Im gonna say what I want here....hopefully Je Suis Phenome says outta here....actually who cares?

This is why I love Canada....4 major parties!!! Plus the Grey one nobody cares about.....he he he.....Plus less confusing governement.....unless you cont listening to Cretien, Lol

g star 08-09-2004 08:43 PM

george w bush is a dangerous man. i would vote for a hyena before i'd vote for him. kerry may not be the greatest but considering the alternative......... a multiple party system would be ideal but in this particular election i feel that it would be wise to vote bush out, even if you back nader. but what do i know. i'd rather watch freddy vs jason for the tenth time than watch a kerry/bush debate.

sugar shane 08-10-2004 09:41 AM

I understand the point of the video, however, it still pretty much doesn't mean anything. Please, people- use your heads this election. The whole "lesser of two evils" thing... lol. We are in an
abusive relationship. The most important thing now is to end this abusive relationship. And we can't "not have a president". So we really have no choice but to stay with the guy that's abusing us or NOT stay with the guy that's abusing us. It's pretty simple.Somebody said that we already know how bad Bush can be and asked if we wanted to see how bad Kerry can be. Would you suggest that we stay with the guy who is beating us just because a new guy MIGHT beat us? No- we leave the jerk we are with and demand better treatment. Vote for the Green party, Libertarians, whoever- me, I'll go with the guy who actually stands a chance. I wasted a vote on Nader last time around, and if so many people hadn't done the same, maybe we'd never know how bad Bush can be. But then again, the son of the former CIA director and former 2 term VP and President just doesn't run for office and not win. At least not these good ol' Texas boys.

No more bullshit? Kerry is just full of it. Everything about him reeks of excrement.:D

WaR38 08-15-2004 10:08 AM

Yeah lesser of two evils. Thats why I'm gonna be president at least I wouldn't lie thats what would get me in. "Yeah I did coke out of that midgets butt, but I have been saved and I am sorry" Thats all you have to say, even if you don't do coke.

Haunted 08-15-2004 11:34 AM

So now that fascism is in vogue....

Aside from Kerry's final protest of the war, many Vietnam vets stand behind him as a war hero. Plus members of the military and even Republicans have discreditted the propaganda campaign against Kerry's service during Vietnam.

Having watched the Democratic National Convention, I happened to notice the copious amounts of Vets supporting Kerry.

Oh, and Creeper, you're not throwing away your vote. You're an American, my friend, there's no such concept. :)

Yeah I know but the folks I vote for never seem to get anywhere, kind of makes me think of the Simpsons episode, Clinton and Dole are actually Kodos and Krang. "Its a 2 party system you have to vote for one of us." Lenny says, "Im voting for a 3rd party canidate." Kodos says "Go ahead throw your vote away." Pan to Ross Perot smashing his hat. Just think that its kind of funny that this is the best that we can do.

In the words of Homer Simpson, "Don't blame me I voted for Kodos."

god help us then. what i find terribly sad is that we are so willing to vote for someone who is willing to send our family members thousands of miles away to die in a place that doesnt really want us there, spend billions of dollars on a war that never should have happened, and in doing so set up his vp's "former" company for the largest winfall in their history. and at the same time there are elderly people eating cat food, because they cant afford their medicine. there are children literally starving to death in this country, there are human beings living like animals and no one cares. 9/11 was horrible, but if you really wanted to do something about it, why not look a little harder at saudi arabia, where most of the cowards were from, and syria, and pakistan, where we know there are terrorists. if you wanted to do something about wmd, why not look at north korea, where we know for sure there are nukes. i mean, who are they trying to fool. if reagan and bush I hadn't endorsed bin ladin in the first place we wouldnt be in this situation. if they hadn't tried playing iran/iraq off each other we wouldn't be in this mess. people, we need to open our eyes and start looking around at whats really going on. our politicians are not our friends. if they really wanted to keep people from dying, why not make tobacco illegal. hundreds of thousands of people die each year due to tobacco related illness, but guess what, tobacco companies donate a lot of money to the powers that be, so it is overlooked. I'm sorry, i didn't mean to rant, but it just pisses me off sometimes. it's just not right.

KRUGERKID13 08-18-2004 08:05 PM

guess what he never drafted anybody they signed up and are willing to fight for our country

Heinz products

I checked and my bottle of Heinz catsup says "Product
of Canada"!

Guess I'll be checking out all the Heinz products at
the store! Shortly after reading the following e-mail
content, I happened to look at the label of a jar of
Heinz sandwich slice pickles.

Yep...."Made in Mexico."

Check some of your Heinz products. Sen. John Kerry
keeps talking about.

U.S. corporations leaving this country and setting up
shop in foreign countries, taking thousands of jobs
with them. He is right, because that has happened.

However, he is trying to blame it on George W.! Bush.

As far as I know, Bush has not ! moved one factory out
of this country because he is not the owner of a single factory.

That cannot be said about Kerry and his wife,Teresa
Heinz-Kerry.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the Kerrys own
32 factories in Europe and 18 in Asia and the Pacific.

In addition, their company, the Heinz Company, leases
four factories in Europe and four in Asia. Also, they
own 27 factories in North America, some of which are
in Mexico and the Caribbean.

I wonder how many hundreds of American workers lost
their jobs when these plants relocated in foreign countries?

I also wonder if the workers in Mexico and Asia are
paid the same wages and benefits as workers in the
United States.

Of course they're not. However, Kerry demands that
other companies that relocate should pay the same benefits
they did in the U.S.

Why does he not demand this of the Heinz Company,
since he is married to the owner?

If Kerry is elected, will he and his wife close all
those foreign factories and bring all those jobs back to America?

Of course they won't.

They're making millions off that cheap labor.

Dark..Raven 08-24-2004 05:01 PM

Ok,
Here is the way I see it..

I like Bush. I like him as a person he seems likable enough. I do have Problems with his domestic agenda But, The way I see it, That took a back burner after 9/11. And it should have because I was there. He became a War President and it is time for us to suck it up and accept it.
Lets not forget that we were in Iraq for 12 years. Saddam was shooting at our airmen everyday and in gross violation of what? A dozen UN resolutions. Would the 13th done the Job? The 14th? He did have WMD EVERYONE knew it.. If Bad Intel is Made into an issue, Then Just about the WHOLE world is quilty. Not Just Bush.

The UN was never serious about the situation because they were making tons of money from the oil for food program.. These are the " Noble allies" Kerry wants us to get to help us.. And the UN ( A bang up job they are doing in the Sudan Right?)

The War came to us. Not the other way around. So fuck them if they don't like it.

Now as to Kerry.. He just lies his ass off..I have MAJOR problems with what he did after he came Back from Vietnam..Did you know the North Vietnamese consider him a hero? And that they played his senate testimony to the POW's.. Good for morale you know.

Kerry wears his 4 months of " Incountry"duty on his sleeve and considers himself a " War Hero".

Let me give you a clue about the word hero.. I knew many as a Ranger in S. America. I also Knew Many As a Paramedic at the Site of the Former World Trade Center on 9/11.. Real heroes have two things in common.

1) They consider the Word " Hero" A four letter word.

2) They never talk about it.

This is all Kerry does which makes him a phoney in my view..

I am sticking with W

orangestar 08-24-2004 05:06 PM

I agree with a lot of things republicans say, but the sheer stupidity of Bush makes me worried about having dubya for another 4 years. He has messed up the country (medicare, no child left behind, unemployment...) and right now, its the lesser of two evils. Neither of them are right to run the most powerful country in the free world but until we become more than a bipartisan nation I want the smartest one in the White house.

.....not that Im old enough to vote or anything.

Dark..Raven 08-24-2004 05:10 PM

I agree with you on Medicare and Education.. But that was just as big a mess under Clinton..

The Unemployment rate is 5.5% Dude.. The same as it was under Clinton.

Work needs to be done. If it were not for energy prices, This economy would be on fire man.. Look at the internals of the Labor Dept surveys.

orangestar 08-24-2004 05:12 PM

I also dont believe that the war came to us. I think Bush is a money hungry texas oil man at heart and the added bonus of capturing Pa's attempted assasination coordinator was the reason we got into the war.
