i need to find a new horror series
 

ive seen all the nightmares all the fridays all the halloweens and evil dead too so i need some more aadvice what new to get

Basket case and it sequels are fun
Evil dead series is cool
Phantasm series although B grade horror movies are fun
The House Series 1&2 are better than 3 & 4
Lone wolf and cub (Samurai movies, but very bloody)
I hate hellraiser but some people love those movies
TCM and all the films in that franchise although the original is superior to the others including the remake by miles!
The Demons series 1&2 being the best of those
The MR Vampire and close encounters of the spooky kind series
Ringu (Japanese original ring) and its sequel and prequels are good although again the first movie is by far the most superior!
Cube and cube 2
The Omen is a classic horror series
Amytiville
The blade franchise
I expect Underworld will become a franchise although it sucks
The Blair witch movie ... These suck most of all, but some like them!

Etc ... prob if there’s nothing there you like you don’t like horror series and should stick to single movies which are often better anyway!!

basket case is a very good low budget film, made by one of the more interesting directors in the genre.

no its not its terrible. I watch low budget all the time and most of my fav. are low budget but basket case has no good qualities to it. Its absoloutly terrible. You cant eve begin to realize how much i hate this movie

For the time and budget "basket case" is fun and bilial is a creepy little character!!!!:D

no hes a crappy little character. And dont talk about time and budget Cormans stuff was good and most of it was shot in less then a week with lees then 1000 dollar budget

Agreed! After the first one, the others are really basically for laughs... at least, for me they were. The remake was decent and for those who haven't seen the original, I can see how some would run their mouth and say it's better than the original, but it most definately isn't.

It was very much the teen movie, whereas the original has survived for almost thirty years and is considered one of the best horror movies ever made. I think the big budget ruined the film and definately lessened the whole point.

I have a thread that talks about the same shit. An since everyone talks about Evil Dead as being really good, I saw it. I thought it was a peice of shit. I basically only like Halloween an NOTLD series.
