There haven't been any good vampire movies lately. Dracula 2000 culd have been alot better.

Dusk til Dawn was hardcore!

I have a major objection to Shadow of the Vampire being number 9! That movie sucked balls!

Other than that, your list looks pretty good...

lol, I realized that after I posted it

I know I'll get some ribbing for this but...Dan Curtis's Dracula starring Jack Palance (1973) is good, as well as Dracula (1979) w/Frank Langella. Both are good versions which follow the story closely, in my own opinion.

It's all a matter of taste. In my opinion all Asian vampire miss the boat by a mile and are pretty much laughable, as is all their horror. Their culture has a completely different take on the dark fantastic than the Gothic tradition we inherited from Europe.

Some of the stuff thter than Hammer or Universal or big-budget Hollywood that I found interesting...Leomra, the films of Jean Rollin, Blood-Spattered Bride, and Blood Ceremony. And of course the great Black Sunday and Black Sabbath.

This threw me off before I realized it's the DVD title of Warhol's Dracula. Not to be confused with Blood of Dracula or Blood of Dracula's Castle.

Philip Ridley's Reflecting skin is not really a vampire movie...

...well, if we say that Reflecting skin is a vampire movie, then it's the best one I've ever seen :D

lost boys - the best man, the best. maybe seconded by fright night - but fright night 2 sucked more than just neck.

You forgot BLADE 1 and 2 !!

Also you forgot subspieces 1,2, 3 !!!

i didn't really like blade 2...blade 1 was ok, but they were doing too much computer stuff....and also, 1 of my fav. is lost boys also
