Avp Pg-13!?!?!!
 

Alien Vs Predator is going to be a PG-13 film. I still think it's gonna rule no matter what, but this seems to show a lack of gore. ALIEN AND PREDATOR LOVE GORE!!!!



What do you guys think about this decision?

Well, Aliens wasn't really a gory film. The moments where it was gory, they edited it together so that you saw blood for about a second then cut away. Predator had much more blood in it, but I am not expecting a lot of blood, well human blood that is. I am expecting blood from both aliens and predators and you can't really give that an R rating. BUT THE MOVIE WILL AWESOME MOVIE NO MATTER WHAT THE RATING!!!

lowering the classification so more kids can go watch it, meaning they get more money in their pockets $$$$$$$$$ that's what studio execs like to hear.

i think the goriest part in any alien film was in Alien:ressurection when the chest burster came through that guys head

I'm surprised at that rating, Predator was quite a gory film and I would have throught him and Alien would have created a gore fest, or an excuse for one. I'm still lookin forward to seein it though :p

gore doesnt make a horror movie good look at halloween or for that matter tcm (no blood dont care what some people may say)

Obviously they're just going to go for more action than gore...which isn't ALL THAT bad...I don't think alien or predator blood really cuts it for gore anyway, so there shouldn't be too much of a lack of THEIR blood anyway. Humans might get killed in shadows or from a first-person alien perspective... if they did it with style, they could make scary work, but I eally think they're gonna be going more for action.

I have a question, how do you take two movies that are rated R mix them together and get a PG-13 movie?

Although the 1st Alien movie wasn't really all that gorey, the second was pretty violent and so was the first Predator...so they were rated R

so AVP should have been made too be violent and gorey and given a R rating, although the Rating scale has changed..i still think it was foolish to make this film have a PG-13 rating

That is exactly what I meant. I know it'll be good and all, but it making it so more kids can see it doesn't make it a better movie. Being the best movie is the genres is what really matters.

Sometimes I really hate the MPAA, has way too much influence on a lot of studios who are mainly interested in profit. I'm sure Alien and Predator blood doesn't count as much as human blood does for gore but a lot more is still going to be cut out to get it PG-13. It looks like this is going to be more of an all out action flick, probably not going to see this.

I'm definitely going to see this, hopefully it won't suck as bad as Alien: Resurrection

Well...this could suck bigtime. I was all pysched to take my son to see it next friday. Not that a movie has to be rated "R" for it to be good. This sucker better be dripping with atmosphere.

What is this krock, this film is going to lick the phlegm off a dolphins blowhole. How the Hell can you take 2 R rated films and make them PG13??? This means no blood and guts which is like trademark to both species.

PG-13? Oh say it isn't so. Oh well. I'm sure it'll still be a pretty good movie. One to put on my favorites even. It all includes to the viewers taste in movies, and the acting. I mean Spawn was rated PG-13 (I think) and it was pretty cool. Would've been a lot cooler if it was Rated R. But you know how the movie creaters are these days; always wanting money so they lower the rating so they can get more sells. Hell, when I was to young for a Horror movie, that didn't stop me from buying it. And my mother didn't mind. I watched Horror for a long time. Mostly reruns, but still Horror. But I watched a lot of Comedy too. Jim Carry in 'The Mask' was hilarious. And now they're coming out with a 'The Mask 2'. I can't wait. But this isn't the site to disscuss that.

before, if a movie wasnt R i wouldnt watch it.but nowadays movies are way overdone with the killing, gore, nudity..

IM ROOTIN FOR PREDATOR!! although i think they made him look kinda lame (at least from what i remember from commercials). i am actually looking forward to this one,, but very much prepared to be dismayed!!

Stupid me. How could I not post who I'm rootin' for? Sorry. I must say I am rooting for Predator all the way. I mean all Aliens have is... what? Some strengh... a extra mouth... and they are ugly as hell. Now Predator on the other hand is wickedly awesome. They have the strengh, ability, and to mention the greatest strengh of all: intelligence. Sure if one Predator is ganged up by a dozen Aliens, the Predator may not make it out alive, but then again maybe the Aliens won't. Guess it all depends if the Predator is highly skilled (though most all, but there are differnt types of Predators, as I've learned form a Alien/Predator fan site). But after the Predators (or at least I hope it's the Predators that win) win I think it would be cool for them to fight the aliens from 'Independence Day'. But I bet that the movie will just end with the Predators as ther victors. Only they will be few left and those few will stay in the forest and hunt. But after the credits they will show a scene of where theres one last Alien egg hatching somewhere.

i never even thought abou that. i havent read up much on it i dint tihnk of the idea of several aliens, several predators. or just the 1? i hope its only 1 predator.. predator kicks monkey ass.

at least from whati rememerb in commercials, to me theyre trying to make predator too modern. like shiny metal. the guy kills things for fun and puts them on his wall, hes supposed to be all scratched and dinged up. but then again my memory isnt that good so maybe he is all dinghed up. hell

Either way, Predator is going to kick Alien's ass! And the Predator don't only hunt for fun. They hunt for the sport. The honor. They won't attack anything unarmed or something that can't defend itself. Or so I've seen and red.

as for 5 predators.. im not sure how i feel about that. thats kinda gaylike to me. but i guess maybe he comes ffrom a certain planet then. well where are the girl preds ??
