Am I the only one pissed off at all the comic books turning into movies? Ever since X-men theres been a movie after movie thats been based on a comic book. Spiderman, O.K. , I can see that. Daredevil, sure, that was a awesome idea. The Halk, okay, now you're just trying to piss me off. X-2, talk about a bad sequel. Spiderman 2, O.K. I can pass that one since it was a good movie. Better then the first. But guess what? I hear theres going to be a CATWOMAN. I repeat, CATWOMAN. My God. Now I'm pissed. I mean, really, wtf. Am I the only one pissed off about all these comic movies coming out?

i agree the movie was just to slow and he only turned in the hulk after 1 hour in to the movie

Yes, and it was fucking HORRIBLE.

They have been making comic book movies forever it seems. Being a girl that is really into her comics I enjoy some of them, but I get extremely pissy when they fool with the storyline. Movies like "the Crow: City of Angels" should have NEVER been made. That movie makes me extremely unhappy in the pants. I tried to sit through Daredevil, but it was so horrible it nearly brought me to tears. The Hulk, fuck that noise straight to hell. There is nothing cool about a fat, ugly, green, CGI marshmallow at all. That movie was never viewed in my presence, and it never will be. Puke. Catwoman looks horrible. I will not even get into that. And Batman 3 and 4 NEVER should have been made. EVER. Ok. I could go on with this for a couple days, but I don't have time right now.

You won't even give The Hulk a chance? Try to look past the CGI (which, in my opinion, was top notch, that's how he's supposed to look) and more towards the storyline. They have altered it a bit, but that's only for scientific believability. Everyone knows now that simple radiation doesn't cause mutations like that.

I gave it a chance. A 25 minute chance. I knew that there was no way in hell I was ever going to be able to get into it. I tried, it pushed my patience, and I gave up. I still think the CGI was horrible. Completely rancid.

I know. I knew the movie was going to suck, but damn. That sucked to a extreme.

I really liked all the comic book movies even the Hulk. I'm almost 40 and I grew up in a time when movies made from comic book where few and baddly done. I have been a comic book collector since I was 6 and I even owned a card/comic book shop for 3 yrs. and managed it after I sold it. The Spider Man TV show from the 80's you ever see that SO BAD or the Hulk from that time. I guess growing up I wished to comic book movies where as good as they are now....plus I'm easy to please.

I was a big fan of the comic and the TV show when I was kid and I bash the movie constantly. The CGI was TV quality at best. Sorry, but it was. The story was boring. The directing was just wrong for the movie. Even the action sequences made me yawn. The whole thing, save for a few lines, was just sad. I am glad it had the worst first to second weekend numbers in history. It shows people wanted to see HULK done right, and just didn't get what they wanted. I was planning on seeing it two or three times in the theatre and barely made it through it once.

I hope they give Sam Raimi enough time off from Spiderman and a budget and let him direct a HULK sequel that won't suck. If the HULK is to be done in such unbelievable CGI then make the whole world he lives in CG and it will sell better. He just never looked real to me.

until venom or carnage is in a spider-man movie i will not watch any future spider-man related moives.....IMO a movie based on the green lanturn would be good

my thoughts on the hulk

it FUCKING SUCKED ASS. the CGI was some of the worst ive ever scene. the fact that the madder he got the tallet he got, WTF. the hulk dogs were the stupidest thing ive scene in a movie in a long fucking time. the plot itself was absolutly fucking rearted. the cast was all wrong. the fact that the father turned into the abomanation was fucking dumb as hell. not to mention the way he turned into the hulk they werent replecating or regrowing DNA, Banner turned into the hulk from the blast of a bomb that released gama radiation, which was caused by a fucking retard sitting on the test site and banner saving him.

in other words the worst comic movie ive ever sceen. it sucked as a comic movie, as a movie, as a script, and even as an idea.


it was just the FUCKING stupid.

I thought the bits with the Hulk were pretty good fun. I'm a gigantic comic fan and am impossible to satisfy( I really liked the 2 Spiderman and first 2 Batmans and still have a million gripes with them, but mostly style and design issues).
I think DC have some great cartoons and should make animated movies, Marvel too, they are more likely to attract a more suited audience to comics and hit the spot with visuals. It stinks that people think live action films are going to turn people to comics, some people just have a prejudice against drawings and they are the wrong people to try and appeal to.
I just saw Barbrella and thought it was an awesome comic(newspaper strip)film.
