No, no, I just felt that in light of things going on..my starting a birthday thread may appear frivolous or unconcerned. I tend to over think things, MM.

I most definitely appreciate all the wonderful birthday wishes! Yeah, this birthday sucked, especially since my Mom's memorial service was on my birthday. But, it's OK.

Get this: So, I'm back around an hour or two, and I hear all this commotion in the hallway. I don't pay any mind to it because one of my neighbors is really noisy. I usually just turn up the TV and ignore it. Which is what I did. Turns out the dude across the hall committed suicide, and the "commotion" I heard was his girlfriend screaming on the phone to 911.

I feel like a real shit now.
