IF THERE REALLY WAS A SANTA....

In our home we don't exchange gifts but buy gifts for all the little ones. Now I'm not complaining, I'm very uncomfortable receiving gifts at the best of times but....if there really was a Santa, I might ask for

real antique pearl earrings
from Manitoba Mukluks, a pair of genuine moccasins
a top of the line short wave am/fm portable radio

Morningriser 11-29-2015 12:40 PM

I would ask for moar brains and moar cowbell

So you're saying we should have a Secret Santa here at HDC?! Where we make or find a picture that that our gift receiver would like?!

No, no, you've had enough cowbell. But you need moar brains!

No nothing like that, lol. Cute idea though. Just somewhere you could put what you'd really like but would probably not ask anyone for. A wish list that's never seen except by us?

Oh that. ::big grin::

I have to go practical and ask for a totally decked out Apple laptop for making films.

Morningriser 11-29-2015 03:27 PM

in all seriousness I would ask for...

A professional movie quality camera
A new Alienware laptop
A new PS4
A pound of Purple Kush
A pound of Ghost Train Haze
and a hover board like the bullies had in Back To The Future 2

Just googled "more cowbell" to find out what you meant. Lol, that alone was worth starting this thread. ::big grin::

You didn't know what "more cowbell" meant? That's one of the most well-known SNL skits!

I actually thought it was some "hip" euphemism for s.e.x. I used to watch SNL back in the day with Dan Aykroyd ,John Belushi and Bill Murray etc.

I loved SNL up until the early 2000s. Some of my favorite skits were Samurai Deli, Goth Talk, Spartan Cheerleaders, Someone shot Buckwheat, and many others. I was also a fan of Chevy Chase, Norm Macdonald and Colin Quinn as the news guys. I haven't watched SNL in a long time.

Hey Mr. Teenage Smartass, I didn't know what 'more cowbell' was either! I haven't watched SNL since it was actually GOOD.

A vision of a pageant to choose Mr. Teenage Smartass suddenly came to me. I see the winner wearing his sash and a pouty sneer. ::big grin::

Asking for the impossible... A place of my own. I'd also really like to own a doberman. If certain movies would hold true to Santa's strange power, that would be possible.

The things in life I want most though are not under St. Nick's control I'm afraid.
