Thoughts on Holiday Horror Movies

What I mean by holiday horror movie is that any horror movie that is based around a holiday other than Halloween. Most of the ones I've seen have sucked and the only one I could recall that was somewhat decent was "Bloody Valentine". What are your guys thoughts about them? Do you think a good non-Halloween holiday horror movie is possible?

I suggest "Rare Exports". Excellent Santa horror movie. I believe it's out of Norway.

What do you mean Schindler's List? Schindler's List was hilarious.

horcrux2007 11-24-2015 08:56 AM

No one mentioned Black Christmas.

This is almost as bad as people calling it a "crime drama." This is a horror film with lots of slicing and dicing occurring, throughout.

''Somewhat decent''? Bloody Valentine is fucking fantastic.

I don't know of too many out of Halloween Horror that are really worth their time. A few guilty pleasures here and there that I try to make tradition to watch. Like Jack Frost. ...The one with the killer snowman, not Micheal Keaton.

Schindler's List and The Passion of the Christ are horror films? I could see that.
