The second one is awesome.
|
I agree! The shots from Cleveland are totally badass!! As fer the other ones....well it's a free country.....
|
The second ones are great, but I still do not think its appropriate for someone's lawn. It takes control away from a parent who would not want their kids to see violent depictions. Its not like a tv channel or website you can block.
The first one is just fucking ignorant and foul. |
Dont agree with the first one but I love the second one. Wanted to do the hanging body in a tree thing but I had the trees in my yard cut down.

Meh. I wouldn't decorate with that much gore on the outside of my house, but that's just a matter of personal taste. I wouldn't care if my neighbor had a display like this.
It's not the nature of the display that doesn't interest me. It's just that in my opinion, they aren't all that creative. |
If we had room for the second one, I could see myself doing similar. Although England has a different view on Halloween.
We had bloody hand prints on the wall and garage door and had people taking photos. Maybe one day we will embrace it more instead of it being seen as just for kids |
The first one is just idiotic.
The second one is pretty sweet. I could do that where I live, but it would be pointless. It's pretty secluded, & the only person it would scare would be the pizza guy who occasionally brings me dinner. |
Well...wait for it...I have grandchildren that I sure as f*ck wouldn't want seeing that! On top of maybe having to explain it to them. Why doesn't the a-hole do a concentration camp display, or Jeffrey Dahlmer. ::danger::
|
I'm decorating my place with actual corpses! ::smile::

meh someone always needs something to complain about.
As for the displays, the 2nd one is badass. The first one I don't really see how it is an anti-ISIS statement, but excluding the guy in the cage, I definitely agree with the statement but I am not sure if that is really appropriate for Halloween or for someone's yard for children to see. |

I like the second one. My first impression of it was 'needs more gore', but I'm a haunted house junkie and love my effects so that's just force of habit I guess. I actually agree with what Boss posted, mostly because I remember how easily freaked out I was as a kid and how heartless adults would be when I was so terrified I couldn't sleep at night.

Lol. It's no worse than any gory scene I suppose. I was a soldier for 8 years and spent time overseas, and I'm not offended, I just think the homeowners are morons who have no clue. But hey, if you want to make some awkward political statement on your lawn during Halloween loosely connecting the President to Isis or something, well hell, this is America, so...I guess go ahead. The children will be fine. The scene looks way too lame to be scary.

It's all bad taste, but what's so controversial about the last pic with the dummy lying on the ground?
|
Probably some Christian asshole who gets mad over every little thing they don't agree with.
