I would like your input

I have a nice, long 3-day weekend ahead of me. I can't decide if I should do a Harry Potter marathon or a Hobbit/Lord of the Rings marathon.

What do you guys think?

May be as good an opportunity you'll get to pick back up the Christopher Lee marathon.

I'm a fan of both franchises, but I would recommend Potter. Just a few months ago, I watched the entire series over a 10 day period and it was a lot of fun. I sometimes forget how little the kids were when this started! Seeing them grow up made me feel a little sentimental. I also loved being reminded of so many things that I had forgotten took place. Anyway, I would say you can't go wrong with Lord or Harry as a re-watch marathon, but my recent experience leads me to nudge you in the direction of Hogwarts. ::smile::

Enjoy your 3 days!!

Hobbit/Lord of the Rings. I tried to watch one Harry Potter movie and couldn't take it. Never read the books, have no interest. So I might be biased. : )
For me growing up, 20+ years ago, my 'young adult' books were Forgotten Realms books as well as Stephen King and the Weetzie Bat Books. Shrug. I mean there were others, but those are from when I was quite young. 12-15

Boss, I read all of the HP books, and own all of the DVDs. I really enjoy them.

I decided to go with HP. Started already. I may have time to do both!

Ohhh the good old days of being obsessed with the Marauders and just dying for flashbacks in the next books yet to come out. I still think JK should make a mini series about them. I'd buy all of them in a heartbeat.

Love both but glad you chose Harry Potter. ::love::

I'm up to Goblet of Fire. Will need to take another break so I can go grocery shopping, beer (need to find Not Your Father's Root Beer) shopping, and cat food shopping.

Went to 3 different liquor stores....NO ONE has it! One guy told me they sold 600 cases in one week!

Finished my marathon. For the Independence Day holiday I'll watch "Gettysburg", "Jaws", and "Independence Day".
