Continue The Story...
This is the "Continue The Story..." thread.
Rules:
As I turned to see the sun extinguished behind the ridge, feeling the water freeze around my boots, I realized I wasn't going anywhere.
There was nowhere to go. The creature was coming for me and would be here soon.
I had one flare, one shot, one chance... but regardless, one long night ahead of me.
I turned to see the creature before me, it had bellybuttons where the eyes should be and broken chalk for teeth.
I tried to scream but all that came out was a whimper. My plan and my courage were all forgotten at the sight of the abomination.
I noticed the lint in his eyeballs as he leaned in, opening his mouth and biting my face...the points of contact turning to red patches of chalk
But just before the monster could finish the deed and end my life, my body found the ability to move again.
It had mouth opened, it leaned back, revealing its horror. Its bellybuttons were outties, looking like crab eyes, its scream like chalk scrapping a blackboard!
Then I had a thought...I grabbed the creatures hand, sure enough it crumbled like chalk...I pulled it out and started to urinate on the creature, melting the chalk away with all my urinary force.
Although calcium carbonate is poorly soluble in water, the creature was eaten away, along with the ice around my boots.
(must have been the salt content, coupled with the heat and sheer force)
...and then, as I looked into it's dying eye-buttons, I gazed upon my reflection... |
I looked like I was free, and about to die of hypothermia.
...and then I died.
Of hypothermia. Though while most stories start at the beginning, this one kicked off a the end. |
Then the medium, Madame Helena, convulsed as she spoke the last words of the man who had froze. This was my chance to exact retribution on the woman who murdered my daughter!
She was driven over the edge by Madame H telling her how much her newly passed fiance missed her from the other side. She then took her own shattered life!
Alas the blade she used - of Madam Helena's coven - was cursed: it does not end life for those using it on themselves. Her eyes now closed, soon she would know.
But what would she know? Anguish at not succeeding or relief...
As curiosity gave way to dread, she stood at the Madame's command: a fresh undead minion of Helena's wickedness.
And screaming silently in torment, the spirit of her dead fiance Ethan looked on. But when you are dead...you KNOW things.
Like the best burger joint in town and who it was that let the dogs out...
and how to contact Theresa Caputo personally....
For Ethan knew that Theresa Caputo, though she hated hamburgers, she was able to tell me that Madame Helena turned my daughter into a Coven Zombie seamstress, making the most repulsive hoodie robs this side of Hades. One way or another, the Madame will tell me how to free her.
And if not...my skills as an ex-Navy Seal and pro-wrestler (tee-hee) would serve me well infiltrating the garment factory of the Undead!!!!
So I looked the Madame deep into her eyes and said...
"See anything you like?". She looked momentarily confused but quickly regained her composure.
She saw something she liked: my daughter's eyes. And now she wanted mine, and the hook was set.
I could be as charming as Mick Dundee(my hero) when needed and I poured on the sunshine. Too bad this Madame couldn't predict the crazy train that was heading right for her!!!!!!
The Crazy Train was my powerful mental projection, a freight train into her psyche.
I am, of course, talking about my extensive military training in psychic weaponry. The movie "The Men who Stare at Goats", (which I almost starred in as an extra) was no fairytale.
Madame Helena's eyes started to boogle, and her lips mumbled; and I said, "Where is Theresa Caputo?"
Jean Claude Van DAMN....why did I ask her that?? (tee-hee)
Just as I saw my body complete a round house kick to her head!
That sea hag went down faster than Monica Lewinsky but it gave me a New York minute to inject her with sodium pentathol(which I'm pretty sure is the stuff that will render her unable to lie).
Let's see... where should we begin?
I bent down to roll her over when suddenly her doorbell chimed!! It was shrill and the Madame started to stir...
Who could it be at this hour! The session I paid for was for the entire evening!
Its true, this was unexpected, but there isn't one thing on God's green earth that I can't handle. I'm basically a human "Terminator"(which I almost starred in as an extra).
I stuffed Madame Hellena into a closet, and approached the door.
The caller began pounding on the door as I peered through the peephole. I saw the frantic face of my ex-wife, Nadine!!!!!!!
