Which favorite actor would you like to see in horror movies?

One of mine would be Steve Buscemi.

That dude's awesome. He's been in some gritty stuff, but I can't think of anything he's been in that I was classify as horror. He did the voice of a main character in Monster House. And no, Ghost World is a great movie, but it's not about ghosts. ;)

Do you think he would be good in horror because he'd make a good villain, or a good protagonist?

trickshot63 08-23-2013 12:40 PM

Yeah I really liked Ghost World too.

I think he would play a GREAT psycho type character.

Good choice.

I don't think I've ever seen Nicolas Cage in a non-humor horror film. I'd like to see Geoffrey Rush do more horror films. I think he has a knack for it.

I agree

I agree, at least with Geoffrey Rush.

HorrorJ 08-23-2013 04:21 PM

Great choices!

How about Hugh Jackman?

MichaelMyers 08-24-2013 04:29 AM

Ben Affleck!
Just kidding.

I agree, Geoffrey Rush is very talented. There is a small handful of actors who can make me sit down and watch a movie that I would otherwise have absolutely no interest in - and he's one of them.

Would you watch a 3 hour remake of Seabiscuit where Geoffrey Rush plays the lead of the jockey?

I'd like to see Henry Winkler, although he's already done it if you count his role in Scream.

I remember though when he played a psychotic lawyer in the tv series Third Watch some time ago, and from that I reckon he'd make a great villain/slasher.

Ditto John Lithgow, after his great role in Dexter.

He's done villains before Dexter

Raising Cain, Cliffhanger and Blow Out come to mind

Not actually seen any of those but I don't think they're horror are they?

I was just looking at Lithgow's filmography on Wiki though, I see he was in the tv version of Tales from the Crypt. Not seen that either...

neverending 09-20-2013 10:58 AM

Raising Cain is certainly a horror film.

Thanks. Wiki has it as a psychological thriller but it looks pretty good either way, I'll see if I can get a copy.
