What scares you?
Anyone got any unusual fear, or even some usual ones.
I'm scared of seaweed and and anything fly's (bugs, birds etc) and Mr Potato Head, when he has his angry eyes in ;) |

^ I go on bi-annual trips to the Mall of America (4 floors) , and being on the second floor looking over a railing scares me to death. Dragonflys. I even laugh at myself for this one. a fire in my house, i have lots of valuble stuff, but i keep all of my reciepts in a fireproof box for insurence... and also my room is in the basement and i have no windows!!!!:eek:

Wasps/Bees/Ladybugs/Locusts/Crickets/Grasshoppers, and basically all bugs, stairs with spaces between the steps and/or without rails(I feel like I'll fall through the spaces...I guess that is a weird fear), doctors, hospitals, people in general, snakes... |

Whoa! same here to all that except snakes. Have grown to like them. Especially after an event I had at my Daycare with Rummel"s Reptiles! Those baby pythons were really peaceful and gentle. All of the kids and staff had snakes around their necks at some point! Didn't really think I would ever feel this way! Weird! :rolleyes:

im super scared of spiders. but im pretty freked out by cadapillers fucking creppy little shits, my cousin is like a big bug person se she gets alkinds of weird bugs and she had this big ass cadapiller and showed it to me when i was like 12 and ive been scared shitless sence

Ah spiders...... the only bug I love thnks to Charlotte's Web!:) Never had a problem with them. The Iraqi ones...... well that's another story!

Really...... I once read a whole thing on these creatures in some book. They really are feared and thought of as omens in other countries. I'm going to check it out on the web when I have time. Sure you can find info on this there! Nasty little moths with color!:mad: P. S I have a friend terrified of cows. Driving in the country freaks her out......... hey, that's weird. Her husband freaked her out one time by mooing unexpectedly! LOL! Pathetic yes, nevertheless True. |
Oh, the shoud of Turin moth incident was about an enormous hairy faced moth that was in my shower one day. Seriously thought my husband planted it there!
Anyway, I grabbed a wash cloth to kill it. After numerous washings, including scrubbing with comet, it's evil imprinted face and body remained! Finally had to throw it out. Jesus moth I guess..........anyway maybe it was a sign...... LOL! Spooooooooooky! Hope for all the right wingers it wasn't the second coming! :D |

Whats with all the moth hate? :confused: I like moths, and butterflies. They never hurt you and usually hang out chilling on some wall.
My old appartment used to get about 20-25 moths in it a NIGHT:eek: , but they didnt really bother me, i had about 20 or 30 of OTHER insect species that were far more detestible than they were.... |

Lived in a town house by the river. They would get into my room at night due to my mom leaving patrio doors open. Peaceful, until one would nail your face in the dark and then hide when you turned the light on. Hate the sneaky motherfuckers! Don't like bugs that pursue you and take you by suprise, or bugs at all for that matter! We have major canker worm infewstations here in the spring too........... can't be near a tree for two weeks. Like spiders though!:rolleyes: |

Come here to Winnipeg in about two weeks and you can see for yourself! Millions of inch worm or Forest tent caterpillars infest our trees and at the end of it they all hang down on threads and fall on your head! The trees are stripped bare of leaves with only webs remaining and cars are covered in worm shit!
That is the long and short of it. Majorly evoid all trees for at least two to three weeks! The big black forrest tents can cover whole walls of houses at their worst. This....... is.......... scary........ and....... they ALL become moths! Understand now? :eek: |

We have millipedes and centipedes here. Millipedes end up in your house more often, but they are only like an inch long or so, i found a centipede in the parking lot yesterday, it was about 7-8 inches long:eek: and BIG, but it was dead already....thankfully....

Yup, have them too, along with billions of misquitoes. My cats bring themj up from the basement!
We are really a bug's paradise here! Guess because we have really hot summers, and snow in the winter that leads to wet breeding areas. Winnipegers do NOT like bugs! LOL! :mad: |
