Definately Nightmare on Elm Street II.

Easily the worst of the series, altho 5 and 6 are pretty nasty as well, good thing 7 was quite the upturn, although it still has its haters...

Freddy is my favorite Slasher and ANOES part 1 is my favorite horror movie of all-time. As a Freddy fan I appreciated the first three movies a whole lot. I personally like Freddy for his more badass image rather then his whole "Comedy" persona. The turning point for Krueger was ANOES 4 when Freddy decided telling Bob Saget jokes would help his gig. It helped in part, but he could never be looked at as scary again.

ANOES 4, 5, and Freddy's Dead all were terrible. Wes Craven's New Nightmare was good.
