As an effort is being made to show the sexiest photos of the women of horror that are available, I thought I would do the same for the 3 finalists in the recent actors tournament.

May be I'm wrong but just want to clarify...the purpose of the women of horror tournament is to find (in a democratic way/through the votes from the HDCians) the most significant/best female personality in Horror films who contributed most or best in the genre, IMO. WOH isn't a competition about Horror Hotties.

I know, but the photos being chosen are quite provocative.

Example: Vera Miles. Rather than show a head shot or photo from Psycho, a picture of her in a bathing suit sitting on a giant stick of dynamite was chosen. When the actors were being done, there was no effort made to pick more flattering pictures. I call foul.;)

I think provocative photos are there for to somewhat 'mislead' the voters, something a little psychological twist for the voters...to put in a little bit awkward position to decide whether you'd vote on the basis of the contestant's contribution/works or beauty/sex appeal.

I'm not sure that argument would hold up in court, but I can live with it.;)

The name instantly brings up enough information in a voter's thoughts about the actor's contribution to the genre. My purpose in providing the pics are two - to get some more male HDC members involved, and to show a hot side to their otherwise "normal" persona. Just so that people today also know that there is a sexy side to the vintage actresses of yesteryears, and it was not all "portrait" pics only.

If the pics are too much, I will be more than glad to remove them and post normal ones.

Btw, normal ones are easy to find, and are dime a dozen all over the Internet. It's the hot ones which are hard to find, and take me at least 3-4 searches, and at least 2 "previews" of my posts, before I post them.
