do you believe in ghosts
 

ok i am a night porter in a hotel,i am awake at night when everybody is asleep my hotel is placed right in a deserted place,just like a horror movie.has any one got any ghost stories you would like to share.

once i was cycling to work,this is 11 oclock at night down a cycle track , woods either side of me and there was this old lady infront of me,i cycled round her when i looked back there was no one there,and there was nowhere for her go.

I do.

Frequently i hear things at night and think i see things. Once i saw something running at me and then it disappeared. Things like that happen a lot.

I'd kinda lean torwards 90% not believing in Ghosts/God/Jesus/Lock Ness Monster/Tooth Fairy etc but you can never be totally sure. Right.

No hard evidence for any of them but then 'There are more things in heaven and earth, Ferox13, Than are dreamt of in your philosophy. '

Good news, if you believe in ghosts. You believe in god. And if you believe in god, then you'll feel a little bit better about dying

I have seen things I can't explain. But I don't believe in ghosts or aliens for that matter.

I do not believe in ghosts.

If you believe in ghosts you believe in some form of after life. A limbo,heaven, hell whatever you wanna call it. And with a form of after-life there would be a creator "God" . If not, it's just hypocritical thinking.

I do a lil.

But when I really believe it, is when it happens to me. And that hasnt happened yet, so I believe 60%.

i sit on the fence,i think if u want to see something badly enough u will.like if ur worried something is out there in those dark woods, u will prob think u have seen something moving.i am not saying i dont believe,but until it's proven i dont know.

I WANT Ghosts,Aliens,Fairy's,Demons,Monsters, all that good shit to exist :cool: because it would make this world a whole lot more interesting. Instead we get humans killing or destroying everything in there path.

Man i agree with you so much there. At least those things we can physically kill but the evil in all men, all of our hidden implules and secret thoughts and dark desires, the world will never be rid of those demons.

I, personally, believe ghosts exist. I believe in a lot of things; but here is why I believe in ghosts. I've had a few encounters with them before. When I was 6 years old, my 3 year old cousin drowned in a creek that runs behind my house. Well, a few years later, at the young age of 10, I am walking by the creek behind my house, which is quite a distance behind my house. I was walking alone, and all of a sudden, plain as day, I noticed my cousin, now with pale-ish blue skin, floating in the water. I took off in a dead run back to my house; I had been scared to death. This is but one of my encounters; the second being me lying in my bed and preparing to sleep.

I blinked one time as I was just about ready to roll over and go to sleep, and the first thing I noticed when I opened my eyes was a see-through, green-ish colored man standing directly over me. My heart started beating rapidly and it felt as though time had froze. I was scared stiff and I didn't know what was going to happen. Then, without any notice at all, it simply vanished. Those were both the longest and the scariest three seconds of my life. You all can choose to believe my stories or not; but I believe them and that's what counts as far as I am concerned.

Ghosts dont exist... A good ghost story is entertaining though. :cool:

if people dont believe in ghosts what is the point of watching a ghost movie.i know loads of people that say it's all aload of rubbish,but still watch all these movies ?

Pure entertainment. We all watch people get slashed and murdered all the time but that doesn't mean we wanna do it or see it in real life

I also don't believe in werewolves, vampires, zombies, or the devil, but I still like to watch movies about them.

Because we want to believe. Just like we want to believe in Heaven and see all our dead relatives again.

I know people murder, and what other reason would there be to watch horror movies other than to be entertained?

I only watch horror movies to get tips on how to murder people more effectivly. :cool:

I believe in ghosts the same way that I believe in many things (but not things in most horror movies as they are just entertainment). But I don't believe in heaven and hell as they are christian creations and I'm no christian.
