My favorite horror movies year by year; 1972-2009. I wanted to have a top 5 for each year, but found that too difficult so I'll be combining years sometimes so the films I list will be somewhere between 5-10.

I would agree with The Exorcist & The Wicker Man, would throw in Last House on the Left for 1972. Haven't seen The Other but think I would like to.

I've seen 5 of these movies; Asylum, Last House On The Left, and Theater Of Blood were good. Wasn't a fan of The Crazies or Don't Look Now.

My knowledge of older films, particularly the silent era, is somewhat limited. Maybe I'll do older films in the Classic Horror section.

I'm not sure I've seen any of the Leprechaun movies; I honestly can't remember. I seem to remember Jason Takes Manhattan was fun.

Now I dont know the dates of these movies but they for sure will make you toss and turn trying to sleep but have almost no luck hehe! MIMIC,Ginger snaps 1-2,Python,Terror Toons,Jurassic Park,Creep show,and little shop of horrors!

Interesting, I've never heard of Terror Toons.

That would be because Terror Toons is a very poor horror comedy and is not shown on television as far as I know,But it is a movie that is very bizarre and rattles the brain,and I dont recommend it unless you like staying up all night wondering what the F it is about and having messed up dreams later!Also the only place I found it was at Block Buster!

Jason Goes To Hell: The Final Friday.

Jason Takes Manhattan was released in 1989 so it just misses out.

yeah it is silly seeming after all it is about killer toons but it is very creepy!

Do you mean the Bill Pullman film or Peter Jackson's Dead Alive?

Terror Toons is the worst movie ever made, I could not watch all of it, it was SO bad it made me Sick the next morning, so I bured the dvd in backgarden Fire.

There is not another movie on Earth that is as bad Terror Toons
