Breaking in new shoes

It's a bastard sometimes isn't it

Brought some new boots the other day and me/my feet are still getting used to them. I've mainly been wearing Vans/Chucks for the last couple of years but found a dope pair of grunty boots for cheap so I had to pick 'em up. I used to rock boots all the time but yeh I forgot how heavy they are on your feet haha!

I hate heavy shoes. I wear all-stars whenever I can, but at my job I have to wear hard shoes and they just weigh you down. I hate walking when my feet feel like lead.

Both have their place really. I like heavier shoes for winter and going to shows (sucks when your feet get trodden on in sneakers) and sneakers for summer.

i only really like shoes when i can slip them on and off with no effort and when they basically hang on my feet rather than being tight. i'd go barefoot all day if i could (though the snow would make it a bit chilly)

The first thing I do when I get home is take off my shoes.

Excellent taste! You don't have to break in a pair of those

I still love a good broke in boot. Haven't needed a pair for work for about three years though, and really, I'm going to school so I'll never have to work someplace like that again. But I'll never wear new, non-broke in, boots to work again! That is the worst. I can still feel the back of my heels rubbing off.

Man, I'm breaking in a new pair of GP's, I haven't worn them for a week though, last time they cut into me pretty bad. It looks like stigmata on my heels.

It's good exercise.

New shoes are always a pain. Sometimes even when using the same brand and make.

I spend as little time in shoes as possible, and same as Zero and Newb like to be able to slip them on and off with ease. No laces if possible, and if they are there I just have them loose.
