I hope they are not actual nominations..I saw Blindside and I found to be a glorified TV movie of the week..very formulaic..I was not particularly impressed with Sandra Bullock at all. JMO

missmacabre 02-02-2010 08:05 AM

As much as I would like to believe Inglourious Basterds will win awards, it probably will not. My best bets are Up In The Air and Precious. UP will get the animated and probably score. Jeff Bridges in Crazy Heart for best actor, Christoph Waltz for best supporting actor. CoCo before Chanel for best costuming.

Haven't seen any of the movies i just thought... hey the title sounds cool.

My predictions are all based on the same logic as women who bets on horses.

Yup... gonna win this one.

neotank 02-05-2010 12:46 PM

I like either Avatar or Inglorious Bastards for best picture. But The Hurt Locker has a good buzz going on at the moment. Pretty sure the director of THL is James Camerons ex wife...

Chris_Morey 02-05-2010 01:41 PM

If Christoph Waltz doesn't win best supporting actor for his role in Inglorious Basterds I'll be very upset. He was absolutely brilliant.

Ferox13 02-05-2010 02:01 PM

'The Secret of Kells' was really good - it was nice to see animation in the cinema that wasn't just a pixar clone..

Roderick Usher 02-06-2010 11:23 AM

THE HURT LOCKER was the best film this year. It's a lock to win... put money on it.

HEY Rod!!

Good to see ya again.

How you doin? What've you been doing lately? :)

And last but not least, what was the word you called my personality about a year ago? It was so suiting.

Can't recall what I called you, but I'm sure it was something clever and charming;)

I'm making action flicks with interesting people, helped Carpenter out with THE WARD and have been talking with Dario about another collaboration, since the last one was sabotaged by numerous individuals.

What would happen to your tumor if they gave an Oscar to Keanu Reeves for Best Actor next?

As Angra would say in reply...

"Brrr..."
