Really bizarre happening in Moscow

I read about this and checked around on the Net, and seriously...WTF?!





Apparently, a Moscow weather department spokesperson offered this as an explanation: “Several fronts have been passing through Moscow recently, there was an intrusion of the Arctic air too, the sun was shining from the west — this is how the effect was produced. This is purely an optical effect, although it does look impressive.”

Freaky.

Very freaky. Almost makes one think of "Independence Day".

I'm with those that say it appears faked. If you watch the video closely there's a horizontal line separating a large part of the sky from the rest of the sky.

Also suspect is a quote from an unnamed representative of the "Moscow weather department."

Fox News wont run it if it was fake, would it? I dont think half of the youtube users are even aware it was on Fox news.

"FOX 4 meteorologist Don Harman said it's known as a hole-punch cloud."

I got the "video has been removed" deal when I tried to watch it. Ripped off.

Just like any network/newspaper regardless of the country.
