B-Movies

Just wondering what some of your alls favorite B-Movies are. I like them better than what comes out in theatres. I just watched Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer the other day and am looking for some more. Not the horribly bad ones with horrible acting but one's similar to Jack Brooks or the one where the convict is sentenced to the electric chair and ends up becoming electric (forget the name). I bought it in a double pack with the people under the stairs.

Hell yea! Seinfeld RULED that shit!

GreenJelloSuxx 08-30-2009 09:16 AM

 That's not even remotely funny and I laugh at everything.

Surely that would make you unable to connect with any human being. Any time a person tries to open up to you or say something serious you would laugh at them. You're a bad person.

You remind me of my neighbors annoying little kid. Maybe it's just the general section... kids seem to flock to those.

Doc Faustus 08-30-2009 10:11 AM

Reanimator, Evil Dead, Ichi the Killer, Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers...too many to list. But if you haven't seen any of these, I recommend them.

THE THING FROM ANOTHER WORLD

THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL (Robert Wise, though I hesitate to call this masterpiece a B-movie)

You're kind of a downer, don't seem happy enough to laugh as much as you claim. Call it initiation, but New Members aren't allowed to have it too easy now, are they? ;)

Evil Dead trilogy

Satan's Little Helper is fantastic.

TSVomit 10-04-2009 09:29 PM

Satan's Little Helper was delightfully ridiculous in all the right ways. I was honestly very surprised. I was also very surprised on how much I disliked Bubba Ho-Tep. I went into the movie wanting to like it, I really did, but I just didn't. Frankenhooker is a must. Trick or Treat, as well. And of course C.H.U.D.

TwistedWitch 10-25-2009 06:07 AM

Not sure if it comes under the genre B-movie but for me it's Motel Hell

I was surprised I didn't go into a boredom induced coma... This film lacked everything except a sexy leading lady (Katheryn Winnick). They did that VERY right...

...very, very right!

I'ma have to say The Evil Dead series and Bubba Ho-Tep are up there for the best of B-status films...

From the foreign B-movie pile:

Bloody Mallory
Versus
Pretty much anything starring Anthony Wong
The Machine Girl
Rabid Grannies
Cemetery Man

Synapse are are killer DVD company that brings out really good editions of a lot of cult stuff. On par with Blue Underground with their excellent packages.
