So now in addition to dealing with the most extreme nerds on the planet (which I've become used to) and the pervasive "fart in a sweaty stormtrooper suit" odor to the San Diego convention hall, now we all have to deal with these TWILIGHT geeks. Or as I call 'em:

Pussies.

I did get to see Igor and MonkeyBone and a dissapointing new Harry potter film.

my version of twilight would have been written by andrzej zulawski , directed by sir franco zaffereli ,star hayden christensen as edward and alexis bledel as bella.

NO! That insult to films should be forbidden from acting. Although, on the bright side, it might make little girls stop obsessing over Twilight.

This is why vampires are my least favorite horror creature. They have all been de-fanged and romanticized to appeal to squealing teenage girls.

also he's in this movie called "takers" that is coming out next year and he co-stars alongside matt dillon and paul walker. i don't know what it's about, but I'll say oscar right now.

It all began with Lestat. Not a teen, but behaves enough like one.

It all started around the time that writers and film makers decided that there was no such thing as a zombie. They are just infected people, infected with one thing or another. The writers felt the need to create a completely new mythology to make themselves unique and one of the obvious choices was to make vampires less evil. This then slowly mutated into vampires being full on protagonists. Most people over 25 who have any sense wouldn't buy into this so the key demographic became younger people, and when a writer comes along and decides her vampire novel will be a romance it became young girls. Vampires were suitably toned down and loved up. What came out was a few pale kids with messy hair who in any other story would have been the bullied freaks.
