Do you like Paul McCartney's voice more than John Lennon's?

I prefer Lennon's voice it kinda has a haunting ring to it.

Do you think Slayer's later albums are as crappy as Metallica's?

Definitely. Seasons in the Abyss is the only Slayer album I really cared about, though.


Do you think Soundgarden is better than Pearl Jam?

For sure. Early Soundgarden was pretty dope. Not a fan of anything after Superunknown.

Reunion shows: a good idea or a bad idea?

Good idea if your band was good to begin with, bad if you suck.

I agree with Soundgarden. I can't decide which is better: Badmotorfinger or Superunknown. BMF is a total dope grunge album, but SU is one of the ONLY "good" alternative/rock albums in the past 15 years.

Do you prefer a festival or a pub gig?

does stage make-up that some bands use really have any effect on your like in the band or not?

It really depends, if they are a band with make up and it fits the music then it doesn't have an effect, but if they are wearing heaps of makeup and sound shit and the whole image thing doesn't come off then it would have an effect on my opinion about them.

Do you ever try and hit on the chick on the band or just try and chat to the guys...

I've tried hitting on chicks in bands a few times and usually talk shit to the band if I've enjoyed them.

Which star would you like to see quit playing and why?

That's a tough one... There are so many. Excluding almost every pop/rap/hip hop "artist", i'll go with Jimmy Page. Just another washed up tool imo. I'm sure there's a better choice, but i'm not thinking at full capacity tonight.


Do you think the Sabbath is way better with Ozzy or with Dio.

I think it's a clever mix of both, honestly. It varies through bands.


Do you think Nirvana would still be popular if Cobain was still alive?

For sure. In Utero was the end of Nirvana anyways, if I hadn't of killed himself they would've broken up anyway. From what I read Kurt was sick of it and wanted to try out different things musically.

Whatever he would've come up with after Nirvana is anyone's guess but people would still remember them as the classic band they were.

Hmm. I need to brush up on my 50's music, but if I had to pick one off the top of my head... I do like the guitar from Jailhouse Rock, so i'll go with that.

Death metal.

I love shit like Kreator, Violent Force, Destruction and Tankard so I'll go with German Metal.

Love both of them. I'll give Maiden the edge.

Depends on my mood. This week I'd say Metallica because I've been listening to Master Of Puppets a bit.

That's a hard one. :(

Most anything off Maiden's albums is pretty bad ass. I do like Avenged Sevenfold's "City of Evil" cover though.

Best live show you've been to?

Pound for pound with all acts included, I'd say Stone Temple Pilots and Cheap Trick. Both rocked the house and made the show great, although they were a generation apart.

The band you thought had the most potential but never went anywhere?

Of recent stuff, i'd say the Killers had plenty to work with but went straight to hell.

Who is the master of blues guitar?

So the name was better than the music :) My first band was called The Returns always liked the name but we were pretty awful sounding but had a couple of mean tunes.

I'm not very well versed on blues but I'd have to say Robert Johnson because he had a really unique style compared to the standard blues playing.
