Looks like my dream to meet Bruce Campbell someday will stay a dream in this lifetime. Oh well.

I'm going to make an effort to be there. I'll be moving to London Ontario around the same time, so I'll be in the general area already - if I can find a cheap hotel + bus fare, I'll be there for sure.

By the way, that link is blocked here at work for some reason, so I couldn't check myself - what are the dates this year?

August 28-30.

Friday, 28th August - 4 PM to 9 PM.
Saturday, 29th August - 10 AM to 7 PM.
Sunday, 30th August - 11 AM to 6 PM.

I'd love to go to that, maybe in the next year or two.

Florida SuperCon which is mainly a comic and anime con has Bruce, Ted Rami, and Tony Moore (creator of the Walking Dead comic). No where as good as Rue Morgue, but it is closer for me

Corman & Steele would be the draw for me. Of course Roger's my "friend" on Facebook- but he never answers my messages. :rolleyes:

i'm staying downtown on the friday night and saturday night this year.

I'm moving to B.C. in 4 days. If everything goes well I'll be back for it.

Those dates work really well for me. I need to move into residence at school literally the day after, so I can probably just grab a hotel room in TO for a couple days before that, then head right to school.

Looking like about a 90% chance I'll be there this year - and, considering I'm going to school to further myself as an actor, what better way to start off than meeting Bruce Campbell?!

My chances keep getting significantly lower. Job I was guaranteed is no longer a guarantee and no one my Mom knows will go with me. She's paranoid as hell so my chance of going is not looking so good. :(

Hahaha I ammm. I tried to move out and she pretty much begged me not to because I am the only person who can keep my brother under control, but also cause she can't live without me. Grrr grr grr. And I pull the "well I am 21" thing, but she pulls the "my house, my rules" bit.

Damn this looks great... I will time it catch one of these sometime soon although going to one of these conventions will bankrupt me and the rest of my holiday will be a bare bones affair :D

Whooo!!!

Just booked my hotel room! I'll be staying at the Fairmont, a block away from the convention. Heading up Friday morning and sticking around until Sunday, so I should be there to catch the whole thing.

Anyone else know whether or not they'll be there? I'd love to meet some of you fuckers if we're going to be in the same neighborhood for awhile.

Looks like I might be making it up there for Saturday, maybe Sunday. Staying with friends in Hamilton, then GoTrain to TO in time for entrance, leaving as the convention center's doors close, and back in the Hammer by 10, same deal on Sunday. We mathed it out and its cheaper than a hotel room.

yeah soooo..l. I might be dressed at Faye Valentine, soooo ya. I'll either be easy or hard to find. Depends if I'm in the anime area or not. lol but I'm gonna get some bristol board and make a sign so its easier to meet up.
