I don't usually plan ahead...just turn up, look around, and apart from the household/cleaning type stuff, foodstuff is subject to...dunno, I just go along and take what I want.

True, but not nearly enough for what he needs...He loves broccoli, but it gives him gas, which makes his belly hurt, so we have to limit him (which sucks)...and he'd have to eat several pounds of spinach to get what he needs from it...He also doesn't care to eat meat much for some odd reason, he loves vegetables, pasta, cheese and bread...So, the Pediasure helps him with protein and iron that he might not get enough of, too...Doctor says that after the age of 5 or so, he shouldn't need the Pediasure anymore, but right now the calcium is critical...He had to have prescribed liquid calcium supplements from the time he was 6 days old, until he was about 6 months old, to keep him from having seizures (his little body doesn't absorb and utilize calcium efficiently, so he needs more than a person normally should)...That's how bad it was...He had a pretty rough start, but he's doing great now :)

Heinz Ketchup has high fructose corn syrup in it. We always get Annie's Organic Ketchup, it tastes awesome, like Heinz but just fresher. I believe Whole Foods has it.

True, but I really didn't want to spend that much more for a tiny bottle. I only bought the ketchup so i'd have something to dab my chicken and steak in since we have that almost everyday where i'm staying. A little fructose never killed anyone :P

Oh, yeah. They sneak so much stuff in there, especially partially hydrogenated oils because if it's less than 0.5 grams per serving they don't have to list it on the nutrional information.

I like it when I get the asparagus piss...well, I don't "like" it so much, but I always forget, take a piss, then think...what the fuck is that?
Then I'm like..."ah, asparagus!" and I laugh, holding my dick, I laugh.

...at the smell.

Pumpkins! I got three pumpkins a day or two ago... and I am cooking one of them now! With brown sugar and margarine and spices :) in a baking pan :)

Such a yummy way to cook a pumpkin! :)

Phalanx 11-20-2008 04:37 AM

I like baking pumpkin after lightly steaming it.
Try steaming it for a few minutes in peices (skin on) then cutting about 1/2 way down into them, rubbing in some olive oil (agreed on the brown sugar too), a touch of salt, pepper, a small amount of mild chilli powder, cinnamon and nutmeg.

This, is how I like to eat pumpkin.

pinkfloyd45769 11-20-2008 05:06 AM

I want to cook pumpkin,i never really thought about all the ways to actually prepare it.How do you guys cut it up?Sounds dumb,i'm just trying to figure out which way to cut it up.

I'll tell you my favorite thing at holiday time: get some chocolate coffee, either Folgers Chocolate Silk or something along those lines, and get Coffee Mate's Peppermint creamer........OMG, heaven!!

About the only flavor I like for coffee itself is chocolate. Now, creamer, on the other hand.......I go nuts buying all different flavors.
