Exciting!

I just found out that a friend of mine has a movie coming out: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1187041

Scroll through the cast list and look for Thomas Roy - that's my friend! :D

urgeok2 10-21-2008 09:02 AM

cool beans :)

hammerfan 10-21-2008 09:07 AM

I remember when 12 Monkeys came out, the local TV news station did an interview with him while I was at his house. Exciting times back then!

urgeok2 10-21-2008 09:10 AM

tell him to get you on set next time !

its a wicked experience

hammerfan 10-21-2008 09:11 AM

Unfortunately, the only time I see him is at the ren faire. His wife owns the herb garden there. They live too far away to just drop by for a visit.

The Flayed One 10-21-2008 09:11 AM

That's cool!

Doug Jones is the only famous person to come out of the small town I grew up in. I remember him coming to our class and talking to us when he was still best know for his McDonalds Mac Tonight commercials.

He's a really cool guy.

hammerfan 10-21-2008 09:14 AM

The only famous person from Wilmington I can think of is Ryan Phillippe. Now, if you want to talk about where I grew up - Philadelphia - well, there's a lot! :D

your glass of orange juice has harlequin syndrome. just thought I might tell you that.

That's cool! I wish I knew a celebrity. Of course, my dad's my hero. I'd like to meet Tommy Lee Jones. He's a fellow Texan. It would also be cool to meet Matt Damon. He has beautiful teeth and his smile is priceless in my opinion. I also think he's a genuninely nice person.

Hammer, I hope your friend is very successful.

hammerfan 10-21-2008 09:42 AM

Thanks, Nella :)

You like? My best friend whipped that out on request in like 20mins.

jenna26 10-21-2008 09:50 AM

That's very cool! Best of luck to him. :)

And a guy I went to high school with was in this movie: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0405055/ :p What's funny is, I didn't even know that until I rented it from the Movie Gallery up here, and then I was like I KNOW that guy.

Yes, this is the kind of movie I rent when left to my own devices....:D

I know what you mean. I know there's quite a few people here that don't like 12 Monkeys, but I really like it - probably because my friend is in it.

I have another friend who was in Gone Fishing with Joe Pesci and Danny Glover - even tho Jim is in it, I just can't like the movie, it's really dumb. Jim did another movie that I can never remember the name of........it had Cindy Crawford and William Baldwin in it. That was a bad one, too.

I'm laughing out loud, literally! I think I know what movie you're talking about but I can't think of the name of it either. The funny thing is that I thought Gone Fishing was a flop, too, but I distinctly remember Joe Pesci holding that wrench in the air and getting struck by lightning!

I was on NF and I came across the movie with Cindy and William. I didn't like the movie that much either. It's called Fair Game.
